Aluminium Bronze

S&D Non-Ferrous is a UK independent stockist of many Non-Ferrous Metals, including Aluminium Bronze. Whereas standard bronze is made up of copper and tin, and brass is formed by copper and zinc, Aluminium is the main alloying metal added to copper when forming Aluminium Bronze. There are many industrial uses for Aluminium Bronzes of varying compositions, including mechanical, chemical, marine, and electrical applications.

Here at S&D Non-Ferrous, we stock Aluminium Bronze material in many forms, including Aluminium Bronze Plates, Aluminium Bronze Sheets, Aluminium Bronze Rods and Aluminum Bronze Bars in Flat, Hexagonal, Hollow, Round, and Square profiles. Read more:

Aluminium Bronze Plate

Aluminum Bronze Plates are known for their combination of high strength, excellent corrosion and resistance to wear. Aluminium bronze alloys typically contain 9-12% aluminum and up to 6% iron and nickel. These alloying metals boast a high mechanical strength and are extensively used in marine applications and in paper and chemical industries. S & D Non-Ferrous stocks Aluminium Bronze Plates in grade C63000, an American grade that is commonly used in applications involving heavy loads, abrasive wear and corrosion and resistant and friction applications. S&D Aluminium Bronze Sheets are available between ¼ ‘’ and 52mm in thickness.
