CW004A & CW024A
At S & D Non-Ferrous, we carry possibly the largest range of copper plates and sheets in the UK without ever compromising on the quality of our stock. We hold copper plates in grades CW004A and CW024A, both of which have varying benefits for different applications.
CW004A is a 99.9% pure copper metal that is known for its extremely high electrical and thermal conductivity. In addition to this, the visually pleasing copper also has a great corrosion resistance, so it is highly versatile and therefore fitting for a diverse range of industries and applications such as electrical components, building works and arts and crafts.
We currently hold CW004A plate from 3mm-150mm thick.
Grade CW024A copper sheet is a phosphorous de-oxidised metal that holds particularly well for brazing and welding. CW024A is commonly preferred for non-electrical uses such as roofing sheets and plumbing tubes as the levels of conductivity are not as high as CW004A.
Our grade CW024A copper plates are the thinner of the two grades, with sheets ranging from 0.7mm to 6mm in thickness which we can tailor cut to the required length for your needs.
